Hello Vena,

Then you've come to the right place. If you take time to get to know the people on this site, you won't be disappointed. They are loving and caring, but most importantly, supportive.

There are many people here who DO understand.

In the Words of the Divine Mercy,
"Jesus, I Trust In You."

Lord, Help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together can't handle.

Hi,

I was diagnosed with bipolar 1 3 years ago after a really bad manic episode. Was feeling awfull for years with lovely highs and super lows until one day it came and ruined my life. I lost everything to it. Husband(my own fault though i had cheated), kids he took custody and all my friends who saw me go totally crazzy and were too scarred to be linked to someone like that. With the right medications and the help of family and childhood friends i was able to recover. But Noone like you say understands your illness. Even though I don'thave super highs or lows I don't feel great. I never know what is part of the disease and what's not.
If you want to talk about anything at all I am here for you. I can be a distant shoulder you can lean on an ear that will listen and just do that and share my own experiences with bipolar.
Take care
