Confused

Posted in Group:

Today I saw my dr and told her the truth of all the symptoms I've been experiencing. I told her I was diagnosed with schizophrenia a few years ago. She was skeptical. After explaining myself she said she thinks I suffer from borderline personality disorder along with bipolar. What does that mean? I'm so confused. I just want to be treated and fixed.

You doctor, probably, needs more time to evaluate your symptoms, it looks like she is not sure in her conclusion. Also, it is good to have a second opinion. God bless you.

It is a good idea get a second opinion although you already have 2 When I was hospitalized the 1st time they thought I was paranoid schizophrenia because they were going on the information from my family

I got a 3rd opinion who confirmed what the 1st doctor said I am Bipolar I and it is not going to change in this lifetime So I am trying lately it has taken a long time but I am Living Bipolar accepting what I can not change and changing or controlling what I can

I am doing much better except for a bad manic episode last month and a bad depression which I am experiencing now but I keep busy and take meds and when it becomes overwhelming I just wait for it to lift as it always does

I used to try to commit suicide every month with no success and now I try not to even think about it the horror stories of botched attempts were enough for me

Keep strong check out everything Sometimes thinks are what they are not and you will find what your diagnosis is and find the right meds to help you to feel better Be strong and seek knowledge
